Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to samuraidream.com and the SAMURAIDREAM services that link to it. In this policy, SAMURAIDREAM, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website. This policy does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own privacy practices.

The current site is a preview storefront. Public prices, customer accounts, payment processing, and order fulfillment are not active. If those services are connected, we will update this policy before using personal information for them.

Information we collect

Information you choose to provide

• Newsletter signup: The homepage signup sends the email address you enter to our website host, Netlify, so SAMURAIDREAM can manage the requested signup.
• Messages and direct contact: The Contact page prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not silently send or store the form fields. If you send the draft, call us, or contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to include.
• Inactive preview forms: The account and inner-page footer signup forms show a local status message only. Information typed into those forms is not transmitted to SAMURAIDREAM by the current website.
• Checkout preview: Contact and delivery information typed into the current checkout remains in the page while it is open. The website does not transmit or save those fields, and no payment or card data is collected.

Information stored on your device

When you save a product or add a preview item to your bag, the site stores the product name and basic item details in your browser’s local storage. This lets the same browser remember your selections.

Information processed automatically

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider may process technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site. This may include an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring page, and date and time of a request. SAMURAIDREAM does not currently use advertising pixels, behavioral advertising tools, or a separate analytics service on this site.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• respond to questions and service requests;
• manage newsletter signups and send communications you requested;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
• understand and address errors, misuse, fraud, or security risks;
• comply with law and protect SAMURAIDREAM, our customers, and others; and
• prepare for customer services that you specifically request when those services become available.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy:

• Service providers: Netlify hosts the site and processes the homepage newsletter form. Email and telecommunications providers process messages or calls that you choose to send.
• Professional advisers: We may share information with legal, accounting, security, or other advisers when reasonably necessary.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.
• Business changes: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

SAMURAIDREAM does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently display targeted advertising on this site.

Browser storage and your selections

The current site uses local browser storage, not an account, to remember saved items and bag selections. The keys are limited to SAMURAIDREAM product selections and do not contain checkout contact, delivery, or payment information.

You can remove individual selections through the Saved, Bag, or Checkout pages. You can remove all local selections by clearing site data in your browser. Clearing browser data, changing browsers, or using another device may remove or separate those selections.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our services. Retention periods vary by the type of information and how it was received. Local saved items and bag details remain on your device until you remove them or your browser clears them.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may unsubscribe from a marketing email by using the instructions in that message or by contacting us. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information connected to you. Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain uses, opt out of certain disclosures, and receive equal service when exercising a privacy right.

Send a request to reach@ascention.group. Describe the request and the email address connected to it. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification.

Because SAMURAIDREAM does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required for the site’s current practices.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site and our services change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version began. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
